Department Chair Leads By Example
A pivotal position in any Radiology Department is the Department Chair, as they are expected to set standards of performance and professionalism through leadership and example. RadCare exerts considerable efforts in finding the right match for this position and provides multiple forms of support to facilitate the Chair’s success.
The Chair is responsible for developing a culture of customer service, medical staff interaction and quality, timely reads. The Chair seeks input from the medical staff on services needed to accomplish the goals of the staff and hospital, and will make every effort to expand the outreach of the hospital’s radiology department to increase referrals and end any outward migration of studies.
